"Cocaine Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others recover from their addiction. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop using cocaine and all other mind-altering substances. There are no dues or fees for membership; we are fully self-supporting through our own contributions. We are not allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organization, or institution. We do not wish to engage in any controversy and we neither endorse nor oppose any causes. Our primary purpose is to stay free from cocaine and all other altering substances, and to help others achieve the same freedom." The "Keep It Simple CA" E-mail Group is an Email-based meeting of Cocaine Anonymous. Each week we discuss a topic dealing with life in sobriety. In order to accomodate ofto accomodate off-topic discussion, there is also an optional "Parking Lot" list. The Parking Lot is NOT a meeting, but, well...The Parking Lot. Like most E-mail lists, each message sent to the list is echoed to each subscriber. In order to prevent unsolicited mailings to the group, we limit participation to subscribers. There are no dues or fees for a subscription -- the only requirement is a desire to stop using cocaine and all other mind-altering substances. KisCA is an E-mail group. It is not a chat line. There is usually several minutes delay between sending a message to the host and it being distributed to the group.
